Botanic Gardens Wedding | Gold Coast
Congratulations Jess and Troy, married at the Gold Coast Botanic Gardens, Rosser Park in Ashmore, on the Gold Coast.
Not knowing exactly when they met, Jess and Troy had met at various parties and gatherings over the years at their friends, Jac and Matt’s house (mutual friends), but hadn’t really spoken.
Around late 2019, early 2020, Matt decided he wanted to play match-maker, and started inviting Jess and Troy around for dinner at the same time, also lining it up with Troy’s fishing trips hoping his hunting and gathering prowess would impress Jess. This didn’t really get off the ground until Harry’s 1st birthday party in July 2020. After this, Jess and Troy started chatting regularly and Troy asked Jess out for lunch in Burleigh and then around to his place for dinner and drinks where he continued showing off his fishing skills. It worked!
It didn’t take long for these two to purchase their first home, and it has been an adventure turning it into their own special oasis.
Troy proposed to Jess in her favourite place, on top of Kirra Hill, at sunset. It was safe to say it wasn’t expected at all, and it has become a running joke this has been the only thing to make Jess speechless! So much so that it took about half an hour to realise she never actually said yes! She did eventually though.
