Scott and Diamantina married on Thursday in the stunning Greek Orthodox Church at Mt Gravatt. Surrounded by family and friends they had a traditional ceremony which was beautiful to photograph. Their ceremony included the blessing of the rings, the crowning, readings from the Bible with drinking from the common cup and was completed with their ceremonial walk. A truly special moment and it was a pleasure to be included.
Diamantina and Scott met in high school and had mutual friends since year 8 but never really knew each other that well. Skip ahead to year 12 and they became great friends and ended up dating during the last month of the school year. They honestly didn’t think too much of it at the time, but here they are, 5 and a half years later and now married. I really to love to hear about how couples met.
After their traditional ceremony we travelled to Mt Tamborine for their reception which was held at the amazing venue, St Bernard’s Hotel Mt Tamborine. We had just enough time for their bridal photos with some time time on the deck with that amazing view to watch the sunset. Their reception was beautiful and they finished off the night with some Greek dancing.
