Have you ever considered a “first look”?

A wedding day “first look” is a sneaky moment between you and your partner before your ceremony.  Your first look can bet setup and planned out.

Melanie and Malcolm decided this is what they wanted to do.  Malcolm made his way down to the heart hedge as grandad drove Melanie in their gold perfectly presented VL Commodore.  As Melanie stepped out of the car, Malcolm smiled from ear to ear, looking at his gorgeous bride to be for the first time today.  I love these first looks, and the surprise.  This was a very special moment between Melanie and Malcolm,  they were able to have some time together with no distractions, just the two of them, Grandad and me!   Lovely Ingrid from Florabunda Flowers turned up in perfect time to hand Melanie her bouquet and help assist Malcolm with his boutonniere.

Melanie and Malcolm were getting ready at The Escarpment, such a stunning property on Mt Tamborine and were only a short distance from their intimate ceremony venue, at Tea and Niceties, the perfect ceremony location as Melanie had her heart set on a ceremony full of fairly lights.  After their beautiful ceremony they went straight into their first dance and WOW.  They had a little help from Lola their dance instructor who assisted with their choreography and they did an amazing job.  It is not easy dancing in a wedding dress!

Melanie and Malcolm, thank you so much for including me in your special day.

  2. Wow, Bec, you captured the amazingly lovely bride and her delight on the day as well as the radiant groom. Such a lot of variety of backgrounds and the beautiful venue truly depict the wondrous day we all shared with Melanie & Malcolm, plus who could forget the pretty and very polished roles that Melodey &Skylah adoringly added for their parents, all captured delightfully by you. We look forward to seeing the finished album to be treasured into the future. Thankyou from Grandma.
