Sometimes you just don’t know who you are going to meet, and sometimes when you meet someone there is a spark. You really don’t know when love is around the corner, usually when you least expect it, as with Dennis and Emil.
Emil was on his way to work, just another day, and Dennis was on the way to see his mum. Not how you may have imagined meeting your future husband. I love hearing my couples love stories, who proposed to who, and how. Dennis and Emil where out to dinner with friends, Dennis left a little early to do a little decorating, and when Emil returned home their apartment was lit up with candles and Dennis proposed… of course Emil said YES!
I has a great time with Dennis and Emil. We did a very early morning sunrise shoot during the week of their wedding, although we didn’t have the best sunrise with the storms and rain about, although we had a few laughs, and champagne. The following Saturday mid morning was their wedding ceremony. Surrounded by family and friends Dennis and Emil walked down the beach to their wedding ceremony together, exactly as they had planned. They ceremony was beautiful, and Dennis and Emil were surrounded by so much love and happiness, the perfect morning with a perfect afternoon to follow at the Currumbin Vikings Surf Club, styled by Dennis and Emil. The room looked amazing and those impressive rolled napkins and not to mention the delicious mini tarts!
I also loved how rather then a grand entrance Dennis and Emil opted to great each guest as they entered the reception room. A really nice touch.
