The Rock Bar and Grill in Bundaberg is where this love story started. With a simple dinner and drinks, Becky and Dave realised they had a similar sense of humour and could chat for hours. This was the start of something special.

Dave was busy preparing for a deployment to the Middle East with the Air Force and one Sunday morning he asked Becky to go for a walk on the beach at Elliot Heads, knowing this was Becky’s favourite beach and her happy place. While strolling along the sand dunes Dave asked Becky for a selfie and as he took the photo Becky could see Dave was holding something. She turned around to find Dave down on one knee with a ring in his hand and asked her to marry him. Initially Becky thought he was joking but after checking out the ring and realising it was real.. she said yes!

After a couple of covid reschedules Becky and Dave’s wedding day arrived! Mid morning I met with Becky and Dave at Cedar Creek Lodges where they were getting ready for their wedding ceremony with their bridal party, and it was such a relaxing morning.

Their wedding ceremony and reception was at Cedar Creek Estate Winery Tamborine Mountain. Becky and Dave both arrived in elegance, the Vanden Plas Princess Limousine, “Diana”, what a stunning Classic Wedding Car it is. After their beautiful ceremony we had perfect weather for their bridal photos, the vineyards and grounds were so green, a photographers dream.

What an amazing day! Congratulations Becky and Dave.
