Pether’s Rainforest Retreat | Andy and Nathan

Weddings are inherently special occasions, and the intimacy of a ceremony can be just as enchanting as any grand celebration. An intimate wedding can also provide a more flexible timeline which was perfect. Nathan and Andy’s wedding was held at the picturesque Pether’s Rainforest Retreat on Tamborine Mountain, a truly extraordinary moment that I felt deeply honored to capture.

If you have followed me you know I love to explore the story of how couples meet, and their story. Unraveling the unique narrative of how two people met is always of interest. Nathan and Andy’s story began with a meeting on a train journey home from work. Imagine the spark that ignited, prompting an immediate desire to know more, to continue conversations and shared moments. Talk about being in the right place at the right time, and sometimes things are just meant to be.

What made their ceremony even more special was the inclusion of their beautiful children, among them their cherished Maggie (their fur baby). Each family member received a heartfelt mention, emphasizing the unity and significance of their family. Against the backdrop of Pether’s Rainforest Retreat, Marilyn orchestrated a hand-tying ceremony, a moment to be remembered by all present.

Nathan and Andy’s love was a celebration. The location of Pether’s Rainforest Retreat added an extra layer of natural beauty to an already magical day, where personal stories, family, and symbolic gestures seamlessly converged to create an unforgettable experience.

Thank you to you all, I loved capturing this very special moment.

Big hugs
