A relocation lead these two to meet, date and now marry! Kerry moved up north to Proserpine during high school and Liam and Kerry met on Kerry’s first day of school. They became best friends for a year and 4 months prior to them officially dating. With Kerry initiating the first kiss, these two high school sweet hearts have celebrated 10 years together and now proudly refer to themselves as Mr and Mrs Barr.
I love hearing about proposals, and had to ask. Liam proposed on their 8 year anniversary. He surprised Kerry with tickets to Sea World as she’d always wanted to go. They visited the Penguin exhibit and got to meet so many little penguins up close. They then drove to Byron Bay, went to the light house and this is where Liam proposed to Kerry at the lookout. There was a huge storm rolling in so they decided to stayed in their hotel room, ordered pizza and watched the storm from the balcony. Kerry remembers this as the most amazing day/night ever!
As many brides, Kerry has been planning her dream wedding for years and with covid, that added yet another year and it was worth the wait. Their day was magical with such beautiful details, from arriving in horse and carriage, to having the amazing artist Rachelle paint them during their ceremony, their day was perfect.
Cedar Creek Estate Winery was their stunning venue of choice, having their ceremony in the stone chapel, a favourite choice by many couples.
