Pether’s Rainforest Retreat | James and Michelle
Michelle and James celebrated with their nearest and dearest at their wedding on Tamborine at Pethers Rainforest Retreat. I love this venue. It is hidden away on top of Tamborine Mountain, and is the perfect place for a wedding. A beautiful rainforest feel, and the tree houses feel a home away from home. Originally Michelle and James were going to marry in the Ceremony Garden, but with the wet weather predicted, they opted for the Lodge Deck, sparkling with fairy lights. Not a bad wet weather option or backup plan B!
Michelle and James met online of course, on eHarmony, don’t get this mixed up with Ebay, as we heard during the speeches… (you had to be there!) but I do love hearing couples stories of how they met and so many couples have met online especially during covid, as these two did. After a casual tea and coffee catch up at Cafe 7, they took their hot drinks and walked and talked by the water. Fast forward to today and we have gorgeous little Duke, a wedding proposal while holidaying in Fiji in 2022, and now they are officially married!
Michelle and James, you both looked amazing, and so did your wedding party! Going through the images for this sneak peek was tough, hard to select just a few, so there’s a few extra. Everyone was having such a great day. A beautiful ceremony from Marilyn, gorgeous rose bouquets, the food was amazing, I loved the heartfelt speeches, and I even had a slice of cake, thank you Lyn, it was amazing. The perfect wedding day.
