Amanda and Michael celebrated the most amazing wedding day in Brisbane at Sirromet Winery, surrounded by family and friends.
Michael and Amanda opted for a mid morning ceremony and a late lunch on their wedding day. With their ceremony down by the lake at the Laguna with natural bushland as the perfect wedding backdrop. Canapes at the Cellar Door, and their lunch reception in the stunning Barrel Room.
Sirromet Wines offers amazing wedding photo opportunities and we certainly made the most of the property. With the sun shining and wallabies watching on, Michael and Amanda embraced the moment and had a ball. A big thanks to Adam for their veil throw (can you spot Adam below…) I have absolutely loved preparing this sneak peek!
Amanda and Michael met in Townsville through work, thank you BigW. They both had moved around a lot with work and ended up in the same store. The rest, as they say, is history. Michael proposed while holidaying in Maleny. Michael got down on one knee before dinner, as Amanda would have hated a public proposal, and as Michael bent his knees and Amanda said “what are you doing, get up” all in a fluster, but did not hesitate to say YES when she was asked.
After a last minute COVID wedding date change in August 2021, they celebrated in May 2022, and it was absolutely worth the wait. Everyone had an amazing time, lots of laughs were had.
